  • Stand By Me - Dementia

  • Infection Prevention and Control for Clinical Staff - (PID6) - CSTF Aligned

    THIS IS AN EXCLUSIVE CONTENT. This content provides an opportunity to review in more depth the use of standard infection prevention and control measures. This content deals with the fundamentals and principles involved in preventing healthcare associated infections. You will also learn how you should manage them, and apply your principles of infection control knowledge in practice.

  • Infection Prevention and Control

    Our online Infection control training content is aimed at staff working within the care environment. Individuals will understand the importance of why we need to have infection control measures implemented in the workplace. At the end of this content candidates will be able to state the obligations and responsibilities that should be performed when dealing with infection control issues. In addition to this candidates will be able to demonstrate and explain hand washing techniques along with having an understanding of maintaining a clean environment.

  • Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards

    The Mental Capacity Act (MCA) came into force in 2007 and was designed to strengthen the protection of vulnerable adults. This was followed by The Deprivation of Liberties Safeguards (DOLS) being implemented in 2009. This online content provides background to the MCA and its relationship to DOLS and how those working within the care sector can ensure compliance whilst carrying out their job role. Candidates will also gain an understanding of how to keep the best interests of those that they care for who may or may not be able to consent.

  • Nutrition Awareness

    Our online Nutrition Awareness content is designed to provide candidates with an introduction to Nutrition awareness and how best to enable service users to choose and consume food and drink by mouth. The actual support required by the service user will be dependent on their individual needs. Candidates will look at the effect of food on the body and general health, how to make changes to supplement illness and how to identify the key minerals and nutrients required by the body. Candidates will gain an understanding about malnutrition and the implications of malnutrition on the individual

  • RIDDOR

    RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations) places a legal duty on employers, self-employed people and people in charge of premises. Under RIDDOR individuals are required to report: work-related deaths, major injuries or over seven day injuries, work related diseases and dangerous occurrences. Our online RIDDOR content will help the user understand the necessary requirements of RIDDOR.

  • Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults

    Our online Safeguarding content is designed for any staff in who work with vulnerable adults and will raise awareness of the importance of Safeguarding Vulnerable People. Staff completing this content will be in a better position to implement their company adult protection policy and the procedures they should follow

  • Safeguarding Children Practice Level 3

    There are many children and young people in society who are in danger and at risk of harm from others due to their inability to protect themselves. Children interact with adults in a wide range of settings and organisations. There are millions of children who live, work and play in environments where adults provide and facilitate education, leisure, support and care. The term environment includes a wide range of familiar institutions such as schools, colleges, hospitals, care homes, youth organisations and, of content, the family home. A wide range of agencies deliver education, care and leisure services to children and there is a legal requirement on all such agencies to protect the children under their responsibility It is intended that the effects of harm and abuse can be minimised by raising awareness through programmes of study such as this. Child abuse is illegal and is thought to be more widespread than previously acknowledged. It is important to note that whether the abuse is deliberate or not, the abused are affected in the same way.

  • Safeguarding Children

    This online Safeguarding Children content is designed to give everyone who works, or has contact with children, young people and/or their families an introduction into safeguarding. This content will give you the knowledge you need to Safeguard Children and what to do when certain situations arise.

  • Catheterisation

    Urinary catheterisation is a procedure used to drain the bladder and collect urine, through a flexible tube called a catheter. Our online Catheterisation content, designed for both RGN’s & Care Staff will cover both theoretical and practical elements. Content attendees will be familiar with reasons for catheterisation, the equipment selection and the processes involved by the end of the content.
